Paul Cradduck

Background

Paul Cradduck is the founder and principal architect of EvergreenCore, a technical consulting firm built on two decades of hands-on enterprise infrastructure and software engineering experience. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Paul has been immersed in technology since he was old enough to push buttons — a habit that, by his own admission, has gotten him into more than his fair share of trouble.

His career spans the full infrastructure stack: from bare-metal compute and storage to software-defined networking, multi-cloud architecture, and modern DevOps practices. He holds the VMware VCDX — the highest-level certification VMware issues, held by fewer than 300 people worldwide — and has earned elite credentials across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and HashiCorp.

Paul served as a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, where he designed full datacenter evacuations to both native AWS and VMware Cloud on AWS for customers ranging from SMB to global enterprise. He is a published author of AWS Solutions Guidance and has spoken at AWS re:Invent (2019, 2022, 2023) and VMware Explore. Before AWS, he served as a Senior Cloud and DevOps Architect at RoundTower Technologies, designing and delivering complex infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. He has been recognized as a VMware vExpert twelve times (2015–2026), reflecting sustained contributions to the broader virtualization and cloud community.
